A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you press play.

What is text to speech?+

Text to speech converts written language into spoken audio. It can help you listen to notes, review a script, or create narration.

What powers the voices?+

Speech is generated by Fish Audio. Enter your own text to hear the result, then listen in the player or download an MP3.

Can I download the audio?+

AI voice generators are playback-only. Audio downloads will become available after Fish Audio generation is connected.

Where does my text go?+

Your text is sent through our server to Fish Audio to generate speech. This site does not save your script or audio. Short-lived usage counters help limit abuse. Avoid entering sensitive information.

How do I write a better voiceover?+

Read your script aloud first. Split long sentences, spell out unfamiliar abbreviations, and use punctuation to guide the rhythm.

Is there a usage limit?+

Each generation accepts up to 500 characters. This site shares a daily allowance of 10,000 characters across visitors, with up to three requests per minute per IP address. Attempts count toward the allowance, including failed generations.
